Locally sourced hard maple live edge wood. The wood was air dried and then went through a gentle kiln process which helped preserve its beautiful grain color and minimized splits. 
 
Certain points of the table were measured to show the approximate size. Epoxy resin was used to stabilize the wood as well as fill voids as needed. Also, a metal plate (covered with epoxy) was installed to help stabilize the split. Table height with 3 conical black steel legs is 18".
