Locally sourced black maple live edge wood mounted onto metal trapezoid legs. Black maple is a less common species of the sugar maple family; dense and full of character. 
 
The Chessboard is made with figured walnut and black epoxy border inlays. Premium chess pieces are included. 
 
The table was finished with Danish oil and then with multiple coats of hard furniture wax; giving great protection while keeping that organic wood feel as well as showing those gorgeous wood grain and character.
