Locally sourced black maple live edge wood mounted onto metal trapezoid legs. Stabilized with epoxy as well as walnut bird inlays. Black maple is a less common species of the sugar maple family; dense and durable. 
 
The table was finished with Danish oil and then with multiple coats of hard furniture wax; giving great protection while keeping that organic wood feel as well as showing those gorgeous wood grain and character.
