1. Is there a product warranty?
- Yes. All products sold have a 1 year warranty against warping and structural defects. Note that given its nature, wood products move (swell and contract) due to seasonal changes. However, it shouldn't be drastic. Small cracks and movements are normal and in fact add to the rustic character of the live edge. If you see a big issue with your furniture, please don't hesitate to reach out.
2. Are your wood pieces kiln dried?
- Yes. All inventory pieces went through appropriate air drying and then kiln time. This process is crucial in order to have a stable indoor furniture as well as to kill any bug that was living in the wood. I get my raw materials from reputable lumber yards/mills in Ontario.
3. Can I place my live edge piece outdoors?
- Please don't. Unless it's stated safe for outdoor use, these fine furniture pieces are intended to be placed indoors. The wood had been conditioned and acclimated to indoor conditions. Please note that improper use of your piece will invalidate the warranty.
4. Do you sell outdoor furniture?
- Yes, and it's a bit cheaper as the wood typically did not go through the kiln process which is an added cost. Please check out the item description whether or not it is an outdoor furniture.
5. Where are your products made?
- All wood products sold are 100% handcrafted in Ontario, Canada.
6. What is your shipping policy?
- Free shipping is offered to all Canadian orders. For international orders, we charge a nominal shipping fee. Please see the shipping estimates at the checkout.
